I finally got the shot I thought I’d never be able to take. I’ve been wanting to take a long exposure shot from Pier 14 in San Francisco for nearly a year now but it’s always locked at night whenever I’m there. Recently it was unlocked but I was without a tripod. I rushed home and back to get my equipment and as I started walking down the pier two security guards explained that the pier was supposed to be closed and they were late. I explained my situation and they gave me an extra minute to take my shot before they locked up.  Finally, a happy ending to one of my stories involving security guards!
